Scripture Inspired
The Bible is the inspired Word of God, a revelation from God to man, the infallible rule of faith and conduct, and is superior to man’s own opinion. 2Timothy 3:15-16; 1Peter2:2
One True God
The one true God that has revealed himself as the eternally self-existent, self-revealed “I AM”, and he is our Eternal Heavenly Father. Deuteronomy 6:4; Mark 12:29-30; Isaiah 43:10-11
Man, His Fall and Redemption
Man was created good and upright; but man by voluntary transgressions fell, and his only hope of redemption is in Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Genesis 1:26-31; 3:1-7; Romans 5:12-21
The Deity and Virgin Birth of Christ
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, that He not only was portrayed as the Son of Man, but also as the Son of God. We believe in the Virgin Birth of Christ according to Isaiah 7:14; Luke 1:34-35; Matthew 1:23; and it was fulfilled at His birth in Luke 2:7
Salvation of Man
Conditions to Salvation
The grace of God which bringeth Salvation, hath appeared to all men through the preaching of repentance toward God and faith toward the Lord Jesus Christ: Man is saved through repentance of sin, having been convicted by the word of God, and by the washing of regeneration; justified by grace through faith, he becomes an heir of God according to the hope of eternal life. 1Peter 1:23; Titus 2:11; Romans 10:13-15; Luke 24:47; Titus 3:5-7
The Evidence of Salvation
The inward evidence, to the believer of his salvation, is the direct witness of the Spirit. Romans 8:16. The outward evidence is a life of righteousness and true holiness.
Baptism In Water
The ordinance of baptism by full submersion should be observed as commanded in the scriptures, by all who have truly repented and accepted God as their Savior. We accept the formula for baptism to be in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Matthew 28:19
Entire Sanctification
The scriptures teach a life of true holiness without which no man shall see the Lord. We are sanctified by the blood of Jesus Christ that was shed on Calvary. By the power of the blood of Christ we are able to obey the command – “Be ye Holy for I am Holy”. Entire sanctification is the will of God for all believers, and should be earnestly pursued by walking in obedience to God’s Word. Hebrews 9:14; 12:14; 1Peter 1:15; 16:1; 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24; 1John 2:6; 1 Thessalonians 4:3.
The Promise of the Father
The office of the Holy Ghost is to be the leader, teacher, guide, and comforter of the saints. All believers are entitled to, and should enthusiastically expect, and earnestly seek the promise of the Father, the Baptism in the Holy Ghost, and fire according to the command of our Lord. This was the normal experience of all in the early Christian Church. This wonderful experience is distinct from and follows the experiences of the new birth and sanctification. Acts 10:44-46; 1:4-16; 15:7-9
Evidence of the Baptism in the Holy Ghost
The baptism of believers in the Holy Ghost is witnessed by the initial sign of speaking with other tongues as the Spirit of God gives the utterance. Acts 2:4; 10:45-46; 19:6
The Lord’s Supper
The Lord’s supper, consisting of the elements bread and the fruit of the vine, is the symbol expressing our sharing the divine nature of our Lord Jesus Christ (2Peter1:4), a memorial of His suffering and death (1Corinthians 11:26) and is enjoined on all believers “Until He Comes”. Also washing of the feet according to John 13:4-9.
The Church
The church is the sanctified body of believers. The body of Christ, the habitation of God through the Spirit. Each believer born of the Spirit is a part of the General Assembly and Church of the First Born which are written in Heaven. Ephesians 1:22-23; 2:22; Hebrews 12:23; Acts 20:28
Divine Healing
Deliverance from sickness is provided in the atonement, and is the privilege of all believers. Isaiah 53:4-5; Matthew 8:16-17; James 5:14-15
The Resurrection
The resurrection of those who have died in Christ and their translation together with those who are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord is the forthcoming and blessed hope of the Church. 1Thessalonians 4:16-17; Romans 8:23; Titus 2:13; 1Corinthians 15:51
The Lake of Fire
The devil and his angels, the beast and the false prophets and whosoever is not found written in the Book of Life, shall be delivered to everlasting punishment in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone, which is the second death. There will be no liberation. Revelation 19:20; 29:10-15.
New Heaven and New Earth
We, according to his promise, look for new heavens and new earth wherein dwelleth righteousness. 2Peter 3:13; Revelation 21 & 22.
